Maroondah Exhibition Spaces

Maroondah City Council offers a number of exhibition venues with strong links to the local community and Melbourne’s dynamic art scene. Through a diverse program of exhibitions, we are committed to fostering education and community participation for all ages. Maroondah is also home to the R & M McGivern Prize; a $25,000 acquisitive prize which aims to encourage painting in oil, acrylic and watercolour mediums.

Council’s new library, learning and cultural centre, located at Ringwood’s new Town Square, hosts a designated art gallery combined with exhibition spaces throughout the centre.

The curated ArtSpace features dynamic contemporary exhibitions by leading practice artists. The venue hosts a range of events, performances, workshops and artist-in-residence programs to engage community members and visitors to the municipality.

Located within the cultural centre, Maroondah Access Gallery offers regular exhibitions with a community focus.
