The Long Gallery Exhibition Program

The Long Gallery Exhibition aims to promote and inspire local community arts practice through an annual program of changing exhibitions that encompass a dynamic range of visual arts responses.

The program's objectives include:

  • to support and encourage artistic development of the local arts community
  • to raise awareness of local community arts initiatives
  • to encourage innovation and diversity
  • to provide a forum for work which is not able to be shown in a commercial or public gallery space.

Where is the Long Gallery?

The Long Gallery is located in the Cultural Centre building at Maroondah Federation Estate, 32 Greenwood Avenue, Ringwood.

"For the Love of Letters"

Tuesday 26 July to Saturday 10 September 2011for the love of letters calligraphy

Members of the Maroondah Calligraphy Society Inc. are displaying their calligraphic and paper craft talents in an exhibition at the Long Gallery, Maroondah Federation Estate.  The framed works exhibited show a variety of scripts and lay-out skills, using ink, gouache and gilding.  Member's imagination is evident in a variety of associated paper crafts.
